So, when you get the scorpion and you team blows it up on you, twice, and it’s not a betrayal, I can’t kick them, What’s the point, make it so if a team mate is in a vehicle you cant damage it. was that too hard to think of? So -Yoinking!- annoying, So many little fgts running around halo.

I was almost convinced until you started swearing.

I think they should just remove friendly fire for infantry and vehicles altogether and then the problem will be solved.

That’s what i want, but they put vehicle betrayals in for god knows why. I don’t want betrayals at all. It is so stupid.
So i’m not allowed to swear when this consistently happens? LOl okay

Theres no reason for the language and doenst had anything or help. As for the issue at hand there does need to be a fix. I say either it be removed compleatly or only have it on for some game types but the punishment does need to be harsher

They need to turn off vehicle betrayal.

The only problem I see with taking off vehicle betrayal is that people with flags can be pushed to the other side of the map. But that can be fixed by doing god knows whatever they do.

I don’t want betrayals period. Its ridiculous people can betray you and you can’t do squat about it.

Yes. Players like that also need to be banned.

You cannot remove vehicle betrayals. There are more cases than just if(person you’re shooting is an enemy or not).

For example, a warthog can have an enemy and an ally in it.

A vehicle can also be boarded. It would be EXTREMELY cheap if you could remove hijackers off of your allies vehicle without damaging the vehicle.

I believe FF should be turned on. Turning Friendly Fire off dumbs the game down, and allows people to do stupid things like stick their teammates with stick detonators and go kamikaze into a group of enemies without being penalized.

It would be difficult to code for vehicle betrayals because a vehicle can be neutral , ally, or enemy (or ally AND enemy). An ally is always an ally, so it is easy to have a FF feature. Chances are 343 would not make the effort to implement a pointless feature

You are allowed to swear, but not on these forums. You have a TV so swear at that. Thats what I do :stuck_out_tongue:

343 cant put betrays in a list with ordenance weapons.

Or put back in reach’s booting system, which actually let’s you boot a player for betraying you instead of doing nothing

Exactly what i wanted.

The player trying to board a heavy vehicle will die from a plasma grenade that stuck on the vehicle he’s trying to board, no matter how far he is from the grenade blast.

Ex: if you board a scorpion from the back, a plasma grenade that stuck on the front thread will still 1-hit kill you.

Taking down ennemy Mantis and tanks would be even harder if they did that.

BUT WHY?

Casuals find betraying fun.

343 should have never removed Friendly Fire from Halo. Too many players pissed and moaned about FF but truth be told: FF has been a part of Halo and with good reason. It forces people to play smart and if they betrayal booting system worked fine we wouldn’t have to worry about it.

Even so, the amount of people who betray for weapons/vehicles is so small compared to most players, AND you never saw it in Halo 3 in the ranked playlists.

Long story short: the casualization of Halo is still causing most of the problems.

Friendly Fire is one of the most important parts of Halo gameplay. In Halo 4, without FF, everyone just grenade spams like crazy and sprays AR into nowhere with no concern for where teammates are.

Friendly Fire would change that

I agree OP, the announcer still says “BETRAYAL” but we don’t have the opportunity to kick the guy who is intentionally hurting his team. Most of us play enough to know when someone accidentally kills someone with a grenade and when a guy is actively being a troll and intentionally kills someone for taking a vehicle they wanted.

What are you talking about? You can already do this?!!

Goodness so much complaining!

I think if a teammate continues to attack your vehicle you should be able to kill him with it. Problem fixed.

You’re right about how this never happened in Halo 3 in the ranked playlists, but could you atleast explain how this casualization causes most of the problems, or do you not have any reasons to back up your argument?

You can’t just put long story short without some reasoning! You seem like a complainer , like everyone else in this community (with the exception of a select few and myself.)
