We dont have any in BTB and it would be nice to see them on a new map. maybe instead of rocket and sniper rifle on the next map, we get bean n saw. It would be nice to replace the sniper rifles on Basin with Beam Rifles because we have too many Sniper rifles but no Beam rifles.
EDIT: Forgot Fuel Rod Gun and Plasma Caster need to be added to BTB as well, i don’t believe they are in BTB either.

me too. i would like to see grav hammer and some of the other weapons that are gonna be in warzone, H1 pistol and H2 BR in as well.
I agree as well since all I play is FFA and BTB. Would be nice to see a little more variety weapon wise.

ya the sniper rifle is becoming too common. i think its time beam riffle gets some play time.

I played BTB briefly when it was first added but didn’t really enjoy it. I played it again a few nights ago and got CTF on Basin. I was thrilled to get some kills on a Gungoose, a Rocket Hog and the Incineration Cannon (my first!) without having to use Req cards.
I’m currently sitting on the verge of Level 3 for the Beam Rifle commendation and I only have 8 more cards available. Would definitely play more of whatever gametype it was included in just so I can sell my Reqs in order to buy more.
The standard SAW is poor though. I have enough The Answer stored up to see myself through the remaining 54 kills I need. Base defense in Warzone with The Answer is the best way of completing that one.
I can’t disagree with you though. It makes no sense for them not to be included other than from the perspective of 343 wanting you to play Warzone and pushing you in the direction of purchasing Req Packs.
The lack of these weapons in BTB and Arena saddens me deeply, especially because of how awesome the Beam Rifle and SAW are.
i know it saddens me too because beam rifle use to get treated like the SR in halo 3 as a common thing but now its not even a weapon in arena

343i has traditionally been remarkably inattentive to things like weapon balance from one map to the next. There was a time in Halo 4 when there was a commendation for destroying scorpions, and yet literally no scorpions anywhere in multiplayer – even on a map (Exile) that actually had an area named “the scorpion bay”.
The fact that you only get to use certain weapons and vehicles is really stupid/sad.
I guess if you don’t like Warzone and never play it, you will never get to use weapons like the Saw, Beam Rifle, and vehicles like The Phaeton. What sense does that make?
Why not design maps that utilize these weapons/vehicle?

I’d like to see all of these in btb, but not one of the maps yet i think could support them at all. The closest would be basin but i honestly couldn’t see a tank or phaeton working well, so im hoping when some classic maps are out like sandtrap we can see these vehicles properly.
They should have weekend playlists to assist with the commendations. That way we could grind all weekend to get the commendations. Because honestly… I’ll never get the plasma commendations.
