So i just did a count with the update coming soon. I figured i have 120 silver packs to go before moving to gold. That doesn’t not include emblems, just due to the fact that so many rares are part of commendations. This is just a crazy long way to go. The grind is real people

I believe I moved on to gold at level 84. I’m a lvl 138 at this point and have about 6 more gold packs left.
I moved to gold at level 81, but that’s selling A LOT of reqs.
All I now get in gold are crap emblems nothing else to get 
It was a long long way from level 54 I think I was close to 90 or so.

I actually moved on to golds not too long ago. I started to get really into gold packs a little before the Warzone Firefight Beta was released. Since then the gold packs then treated me quite nicely, but then the more packs I opened, the less interesting stuff I get. For example, the first gold pack I opened once I was done with silvers, the first thing I saw was that delicious looking Mark IV [GEN1] armor. Then another pack later, Mark IV [GEN1] Arcadia helmet. Then today I opened around 5 golds and the highlight of all of them was the Hammer Time Stance and the Endgame cert. But other than that, all the other stuff just don’t remember getting.
Thing I hate is being just on the cusp of completing silvers, and a new update is about to drop full of about 55k worth of silvers in it that I don’t care the least bit about getting, weapon skins mainly. New content is great and all but with such a grind to get decent stuff already why must they add more filler stuff to put golds further away >.<
Yeah early to mid 80’s should be the Gold tipping point. Mine was 82 or something close to that. about 50%+ of the rare emblems are from specific REQ packs so don’t be surprised if you get the point kick back sooner than you thought!
Level 90 today & I just finished my silvers on Thursday. Just. Gold looks daunting at 10k a pack . . . .
