I know there is only so much they can do with infinite when it comes to graphics and fps especially so close to launch but i really hope they continue to improve and push the graphics and gameplay to its limits for the newer generation of xbox consoles! I want to play it and be blinded by its majesty! I hope they continue to polish the life out of it so it truly stands out on the xbox series x!

As a former console player, I would love to see what newer generation consoles have to bring to the table with graphics! Although I am on PC it would be interesting to see how similar the Xbox version could get.
Cheers!

Check this out. Also, the Digital Foundry video is very good too, imo.
I hope the next technical test uses a newer build with the updated textures and effects from the Xbox showcase 2021 build
I hope they do too so I can just max everything out on PC as well:

I’m pretty sure ray tracing may be a thing in the future with updates that will really spice things up a bit. But at this point not sure if it’s confirmed…

Thanks for those links, the Digital Foundry was very interesting to watch as I experienced pretty bad graphical bugs and horrible stutter/lag during the early days of the preview. The console segments looked great compared to PC surprisingly, it’s good to see that at least.
The best way they can push the Series X (and the most obvious one) is with ray tracing.Add some nice ray-traced lighting or high quaility reflections (like in Cyberpunk or Ratchet & Clank) and we good. Given that most of us cant tell between native and reconstructed 4k, they can sacrifice a bit of resolution and the use some upscaling to reach 60fps (which i know they will because of how good they are at optimizing the games)

You’re welcome. Digital Foundry are a good team and make good videos imo. It will be interesting to see the final build of Halo Infinite compared on the different consoles.
I would have wanted this, but I think it’s too late now.
Don’t worry
There is Series X/S Enhanced version🙏

Is that confirmed for launch. I hope it is because I own a Series X.

I assume there will be enhanced version cause this game was supposed to release with the Series X

Yeah, I hope so too. Don’t get me wrong, the Series X does improve some titles in backward compatiblity mode without the X/S upgrade, Cyberpunk 2077 is an excellent example of that. I still have Xbox One X and the difference in Cyberpunk is unbelievable on Series X. Hopefully the year long delay will have given 343i the time to get the X/S update done.
If there is a series x/s graphics update that includes ray tracing etc i hope its available from launch and we aren’t having to wait for it in a future update like other games!

it was confirmed for a future update before the delay so i see alot of people expecting it to be at launch but i dont. when it gets added ill be cranking it on and never turning it off though.
Most probs wont happen
Also remember that it takes a while for developers to really get into a new console. They have to work out what they can and can’t do. Develop the new APIs. Find new tricks.
It isn’t usually until the 3rd or 4th generation of games that we can see what the new machines can really do.
There is plenty of time for Halo Infinite to find it’s legs.
This would be very interesting to see how similar it could get to PC
