Purpose of choosing a specialization

So at first thought after choosing a specialization i will instantly get the armors and armor mod. However, it did not have that way. I found out i have to level to a certain point in order to unlock the items which i think it is stupid. For example, the armor mod(this is the one i care)unlocks when u reach the level 10 of each spec, also some other stuff such as helmets(level 4) and weapons.

My point is: why is the armor mod at level 10? why caant it be unlocked after choosing the spec? it likes pointless to get your armor mod at level 10…by that time u can choose the other spec…

(sorry if it doesnt make sense…trying to explain why. Because choosing spec(and leveling it to level 10) should be using the"spec/armor/wep/armor mod" all the way until level and choose another spec to use)

If you were in the real military and wanted to become a sniper you would start a sniper program and wait for it…at the end of the program (assuming you’re good enough)you get to be called a sniper. You don’t get to be an airborne ranger until you complete training…enjoy your 10 levels

Makes sense actually… the specs are like a training program, and once you finish you earn your title (mod)
