I think that if you drop $60 on the campaign you should at least get 1 season of battle pass for free. A campaign with most likely 10 hours of gameplay (if it follows previous halos) in 2021 is not worth a $60 price tag in my opinion. I’m willing to pay that as an avid Halo fan but if you’re trying to bring in new players or even keep casual ones around that price tag is pretty hefty for the amount of content you already get for free. What are your thoughts?

Your problem is that you believe $60 is a fair price, when actually they are underselling the product. $60 is nothing, a bargain if you will, for ANY game.
So it comes down to this, we can either pay a reasonable price for new titles $100+, or we can live in a world of micro transactions. But that deficit needs to be addressed somewhere.
