Purchased Halo Reach on Xbox One but can't play

I purchased Halo Reach on Xbox One, but I don’t have MCC. The MCC launcher did not download, so I have no way to play. Is there a solution to this problem?

Try a hard reset of the Xbox, then get back to us here.

If you talking about the xbox version then your in the wrong forums as this for the pc version.

Having the same problem. Can’t play the game at all.

I purchased halo reach as a digital download and it says it’s installed but when I click it. The game doesn’t start up. I tried restarting my Xbox and uninstalling it and reinstalled it but it still won’t work. It also doesn’t appear in my games and apps, only in recently installed

On PC every game can be bought and played separately or you can get everything in one package where the MCC launcher comes with each. Xbox One on the other hand only has these options:

  1. MCC physical copy + Halo Reach (DLC) + Halo 3 ODST (DLC) where MCC is the compulsory part (DLC on its doesn’t work)
  2. Digital bundle that includes everything either via purchase or Game Pass

Base MCC on its own digitally was no longer available for purchase when preorders went live for Halo Reach and the new bundle probably to avoid confusion. So your best option is to ask for a refund for Halo Reach if you want the 2nd option.

I am playing Halo Reach on my Xbox One S with my ancient 360 Reach disc. Recently, when I try a multiplayer match, it says, “Information could not be retrieved from Xbox LIVE”. I have Xbox Live Gold, and it works for other games, but why won’t it on my Reach game? Does anyone know a solution?
