Purchased 135 Blitz pack bundle, but it's not showing up in-game

Hey,

Not sure really what to do here. I purchased the 100+35 Blitz Packs bundle from the Microsoft Store on PC about 2 hours ago, and the packs haven’t shown up in Halo Wars 2 at all. I called the Microsoft support number, and they had me do some basic troubleshooting (logging out/back in, restarting PC, launching game on Xbox instead of PC, etc.), and they said they can see the purchase went through. Then they said I should reach out to the developer… so I guess here’s my shot at that.

I noticed that while playing the game, you can click on the Store button, which launches the Microsoft Store app where you can buy DLC and such, which is the route I took. Alternatively, if you go into the Blitz menu, and scroll over to “Buy Packs” it opens a different in-game menu where all I’m prompted is for my pin to make the purchase. So maybe it would have worked if I did it that way, but I’m not dropping another $100 to find out.

I’ve also tried going into my Microsoft account to request a refund and repurchase… but it is showing as not eligible for refund. So right now I’m dead in the water. Hopefully no one else runs into this issue.

EDIT: After waiting a week, I still did not see the packs show up in my inventory. I ended up opening a support ticket to have the packs refunded (since there isn’t a refund option for MTX in your order history), and stated the issues I was having. I was refunded pretty quickly. I then went and purchased a smaller pack bundle through the in-game store menu, and that went through fine. So I still think this is an issue with buying packs through the Windows Store on PC.

Blitz still populated? Always played skirmish and firefight but never blitz. Might have to get into it.

Eh, it’s populated enough. Personally I prefer skirmish and firefight. I don’t really like Blitz. I just needed to get the 25 games achievement, and wanted to have a reasonable assortment of cards to at least enjoy it a little bit if I had to grind out all those games.

I found games reasonably fast. Sometimes against the same people. Occasionally against someone obviously just trying to grind out games and didn’t even try to win. But it seems like there’s at least some audience that does try to play it.
