Did anyone else jump on the xbox one band wagon just to continue playing the Halo series? I was holding out living on the 360 and Wii U until last month I purchased it with Halo 5. I think it was worth it, regardless of many of the forum opinions.
In a matter of speaking, I did. The only other Xbox One games I have are games that were originally Xbox 360 titles (Gears UE, and the MCC)
I may do so in December.
If only Halo was released on PC… sigh

I bought Xbox because:
1.- Most of my friends are on Xboxlive (tho ill get a ps4 eventually)
2.- I wanted to play next gen for games like Destiny, Battlefield 4, etc.
3.- Sure Im a halo fan so i wanted to play Halo
But i would never buy a console for a single game.

I got the halo 5 xbox bundle and id say it was worth it. I miss le xbox 
I actually bought mine for Kinect.
I bought the Halo edition Xbox one console just for this game.
I might potentially buy star wars battlefront but really it looks like a shallow game compared to Battlefront 2 so many years ago.
I continue with Xbox because of their exclusives. Halo and gears of war are my top.
Pretty much, the only other games I play on the One are available on my already owned 360 so…
I bought day one edition of xbox one. I used to always buy both consoles, but more and more Playstation is losing its exclusive rights to some of its greater titles or the ones I’m interested in at least. Once Square Enix went multiplatform, I didn’t have much need for a Playstation at all anymore.
I did. Exclusives really were the deciding factor.

There might be a chance halo 5 will be imported to PC. Don’t quote me on this, but I remember it was Josh Holmes that said that? It was because the game was built on an Intel platform. Not sure if multiplayer would be included too.
I bought it July of 2014 just to play this game…so worth it!

I believe some Microsoft employee said it wont happen.
I did for the MCC. (Sadly MM was unplayable for those first few months…) It was fun going through the campaigns again though - quite nostalgic. Happy I made that purchase as I use the Xbox ONE pretty much daily for music, netflix, TV… but mainly I bought it for Halo.

for me Halo 5 is not next gen either but you’d defend that is.

did Destiny run at 60fps…no. did it have ANY dedicated servers…no.

And yet Halo 5 has less content and working features than old gen Halos, see i knew you’d defend Halo but you like to attack other games.
Destiny on XboxOne and PS4 is next gen whether you like it or not.
Now keep defending Halo i gave my opinion and i disagree with yours, i am done as that is not what this thread is about.
I bought my Xbone the day it came out, so no. If Halo 5 forge and custom games become more fun than Halo: Reach, then yes, I would have.
