Punished getting the "out of sync" error message

So this has happened a few times now and its kind of gotten on my nerves and a few couple of friends that I play with.

Game is going well, or badly, our games freeze up, loading screen.

See message saying “disconnected game is out of sync” friends mentioned how they were out of sync too, and I even messaged the enemy team and they too were kicked out for the same reasoning.

Check progress on my competitive rank was at 98%, dropped down to 22%.

Why the hell are we getting punished for an error on the server side? I’m sorry but I am finding that rather stupid, if it was my net going down then that’s fine, but for an out of sync error? Nope that’s just not fair in the slightest.

I hate to post these rant-like kind of posts but I feel its needed to bring up since I thought this issue was fixed?

Same here. Yesterday for the first time since around launch I was disconnected from the game due to “out of sync” errors. My CSR plummeted after consecutive disconnects. I don’t understand why server issues bring about such strict punishments. These aren’t the same as quitting or dashboarding and the game knows it. Never mind that these issues shouldn’t happen in the first place.

I wasn’t aware the game had the ability to know the difference, either way I’m hoping the issue does not happen again tonight, if it does and adding another reply here.
