Seriously. If you go to play and a teammate quits in the first minute, it shouldnt count when trying to qualify. Of course the other team was pro, and nobody on my team spoke any English. You should get to replay the match if you get a quiter that fast. Being that it is wins and losses, and individual performance means absolutely nothing, plus the ranks of the other team dictate your " win or loss “. Its nonsense.
I’m guessing infinite will have the same terrible ranking system. Tired of getting placed silver and gold when I have been a platinum-diamond player since release. There should be SOMETHING for Individual performance, or playing smart, and they need to do something about QUITERS ! Why do I get punished when someone chickens out, or decides " hey, it will Be fun to screw this team!”
Maybe try running with a full team rather than taking the risk with randoms? I understand the frustration. I don’t play competitive very often specifically to avoid frustrations like that and being stomped on by pro teams/players.
I just play customs. I realised today why I don’t play MM after placements. If you can find people to play 8s with then that’ll be much better than playing arena anyway.
man im not trying to be a jerk but you have been blowing the board up about how salty you are that you are not ranked higher and its getting kinda old. you feel like your individual performance should carry more weight, even in the face of poor teamwork or people who quit/drop. unfortunately, as many have stated before, thats just not how it works; teamwork is the cornerstone of most of these game modes… you wanna run better then get a squad im not sure where you got the idea that infinite will have the same ranking system, considering that every halo game has had a different ranking system…and lastly, to address your feelings that your rank is only so low because you seem to have bad luck with teammates etc etc…im not trying to be an -Yoink- here but a quick glance at your stats and it looks like your solo ability isnt gonna really push past plat6 or diamond 1…if you can pick up a team of 4 and run slayer for an afternoon and not steadily increase your rank, make another post about it and i will write 343 a letter myself to tell them that their -Yoink- is broke
Sometimes gotta find another person to play with, it sucks but most of us deal with that or find 3 others to play with. I sure hope H6 doesn’t have this ranking system, because seasons is garbage. I don’t have time to sit and grind all day everyday. That’s cool and all but I’d like something other than a XP rank to show up
You should do like I do and only rank FFA and leave it as that. I don’t like team ranking either since you would really have to play with the same players to rank up. Rely on random players and you are going to get random results.

Yeah I tried that but I don’t play enough to get sweaty and grind for champ in FFA, it makes sense though. I just wish ranks stayed lol
