I hope these are getting a buff in the TU because I just watched guys walk through them over and over again and take NO damage. PLEASE 343i Buff the pulse grenades
Throw them at enemies with no shields, its an insta kill. And you can stick people with them too.
I had 2 thrown at near me yesterday while I had full shields and died they are fine if anything they should be removed they are annoying
tossed them while someone was activating a base on dominion. i immediately facepalmed when he got out of the radius and bodied me with the over-ranged pocket shotgun.
The initial blast and the final blast will kill, during the expanded phase it will drop shields.
They are the only nades I use in my loadouts. Frags are used by people that are worried about getting as many kills as possible. Sticky nades are used by people that are going for fancy kills or trying to destroy vehicles. Pulse nades are used by people that want to change map control. I use them to either push people out of a spot or stop people from going to a spot. They are probably the best thing in the game.
And yet we can only spawn with one…
They only need to be used correctly to be effective.

I have them mastered. Definitely don’t need a buff. You’re using them wrong.

No they shouldn’t, they require skill to use/knowing how to and when to use them. They are one of the good additions in halo 4
Pulse Grenades aren’t meant for pure offensive tactics.
Pulse Grenades work best in a defensive/tactical/sneaky/tactical offensively ways.
They aren’t that bad I got te commendation to master fairly quick
Use explosive if you’re having a problem.
I don’t use them for kills as much as I use them for pushing someone into a more desirable spot.

That’s how the Pulse Grenade should be like. It should be able to roll along the ground, but other than that they are perfectly fine.

They’re very effective. The initial blast takes out shields, giving you the window to an easy kill. The final blast should take them out anyway. I find pulse grenades to be useful, the don’t need a buff.
I got a First Strike with a lucky Pulse on Exile, Dominion yesterday (must have hit the guy as he activated the middle terminal). The same match I used one to take out a damaged Ghost that was trying to splatter me.
Pulse Grenades are fine, people need to stop using them like Frags and then complaining when they don’t act like Frags.
I just hope they let you spawn with 2 in the TU. They’re good for what they’re supposed to do which is block off enemies but spawning with one makes it near useless

Bigger radius -> target is more likely to stand inside the grenade bubble for a bit longer-> target take more damage.
Even if everyone knows that the pulse bubble isn’t very strong, I haven’t seen anyone sprint through an active pulse grenade bubble. Everyone is just waiting for them to end before moving foward.
Ok so I’ll go get better rolls eyes even if I use it just for what you guys said they are still weak compared to the other grenades. I just feel that if someone walks through it they should have no shields. I see people walk through them because they know they will still have shield and not too much has been taken down.
Anyway I’ll try some of the real ideas that have been given.
By the way my view of people that say “get better” is they are the ones who suck and have no real experience with said complaint. Why you ask. Well it’s because of an inflated ego that people seem to get on the Internet do to anonymity. So actually think before you type or you might end up looking like a donkey.
