Pulse Grenades, A smal request.

I know that most won’t care about this issue. I really enjoy using the Pulse Nades though in this game. They are the least effective nade in the game, but they aren’t as bad as first impressions suggest. Right now I am ranked 3rd in the world for Pulse Nade kills and love using them to send a message to the other team that I can use lower tier weapons and still dominate them. But I still agree with the general population that they are pretty useless considering one has plasmas and frags available to them.

So my request is this: Please let us spawn with 2 pulse nades if we choose it as a loadout. 343 has clearly overestimated their worth only giving us 1 to start with. I don’t imagine anyone would complain about this addition. Most wouldn’t care, and a few others would be happy.

I agree, I would use the pulse grenades if it wasn’t for starting with just one (without grenadier). They’re effective if you know how to use them correctly.

It simply doesn’t make sense that you can spawn with two plasma grenades but only one pulse. It should be the other way around.

3rd in the world? Great job!! They are my fav nades in the game but I also find their usefulness lacking.You have any tips for using them?

I also have a pretty large amount of pulse grenade kills, and agree that 2 pulse grenades at spawn is fair. I think 343 made only one an option because they were afraid of pulse grenade spam blocking off many paths at once or something, although I’ve never seen them as becoming a significant problem.

yep, there should be 2 pulse nades per loadout. Its so obvious that i dont understand why 343i hasnt done it already…but they really should.

It was pretty fair in the beginning when the game came out to make people start with 1… The biggest advantage to me is that with resupply, a player can amass many grenades and have an impressive volley and just when they think your done throwing your nades and try to close the gap… Bam pulsed and headshot.

It will be a nice change to have two.

I agree i think that we should spawn with one plasma but two pulse nades just my opinion.

I would rather reduce plasma grenade starts to 1.

Pulse grenades are easy to use; just plant one at the feet of your opponent (very easy to do) and then go for the headshot. Making people spawn with 2 of them would see an increase in its frequency of useage, which could result in them becoming just as annoying as the plasma grenades are now.

Both grenade types are rediculously easy to use, especially as a last resort when you’re about to die. They grant you cheap and easy kills in a lot of situations.

An additional advantage of reducing sticky starts to 1 is vehicle balance in BTB.

I say nay to reducing other grenade counts, and yea to increasing Pulse to 2 for starting. Just make it 2 across the board for all grenades.

How do you find out your world rank when it comes to kills with paticular weapons?

People rarely use pulse grenades. They might be easy for some people, but most do not use it.

You also can easily do this with a Frag too, and I find the Pulse Grenades much harder to throw. The game probably only gives you 1 because it had an EMP effect when originally implemented in the PAX Build a year ago.

The only way I know about is from HTR (HaloTracker). There you can also see the rank in a specific country (or the world) for every weapon and medal. But I think only the registered on that website are in the statistics, not everyone.

Pulse grenades actually had EMP effect before game launched, i think that’s why we have only 1 at start.

It would have been awesome that way IF plasma pistol would have been removed also:/

1 pulse grenade with EMP
1 plasma grenade
NO plasma pistol
This sounds to me pretty good to me.
