Pulse Grenade Analysis

After reviewing films of PAX’s multiplayer, here is my analysis of the new Pulse grenades. Thrown towards it’s target, it hits the surface and deflects (whether this next phase can happen on ANY surface or the ground only, I don’t know), half a second after its deflection, it expands to a sphere approximately 5 meters in diameter. It’s immediate effects EMP vehicles to a stand still. 2.5 seconds after expanding, it detonates, doing massive damage to vehicles and incinersting players still in its diameter. My usage analysis appears to make it highly effective on ground vehicles, ineffective on flying vehicles, and somewhat effective on foot soldiers.

This is the general dynamics of the grenade. Those more creative could make it more effective against flying vehicles (especially in a Spire type of scenario).

5 meters? 2.5 secs? Pulling numbers out of ur -Yoink- arent ya

It’s basically a small power drain from Halo 3.

ya but if it collapses while youre still inside of it, then it kills you

Estimations, okay. I didn’t go in and measure everything . Would you like me to go out into 3 decimal places?

A power drain would do that sometimes too, sometimes.

Although the Promethean Grenade sticks to objects too so it’s like a plasma/power drain hybrid.

That’s a great way to express your point there.

OT: I do love how it can disintegrate people
