Pug confirms flood?! 343 recently recorded Gyoza a pug doggo, and he sounds terrifying. It also sounds very familiar… has the flood returned?

The flood were by far more menacing than any other halo enemy encountered thus far. Anyone else agree?

I wouldn’t say that confirms the flood. Could be any species from the ring, or maybe grunts.

not to mention that grunts speak. in all (except reach and 4) the halo games, grunts have actual dialog. safe to assume that trend will continue in infinite. not only does it sound too slappy, the pitch sounds too deep and gurgly to be the whiny voices of grunts

They may be using the pug for the grunts.

I closed my eyes and listened to the clip again, and some of the sounds from Gyoza really remind me of some of the “gurbles” the Halo CE Flood made
