I just had a thought, for everyone who’s in this weekend’s flight and has to work, you probably won’t be home for when they start letting people download the flight. if you haven’t left work already, install the xbox app on your phone and turn on remote control for your xbox. I’m not sure of the exact setting name, as I enabled it during my Series X setup yesterday. But if they send it out as codes through xbox messaging, you could redeem the code there and then set it to start installing remotely for when you get home.
AH i have got the invitation mail confirming that i have been selected for the flights but I haven’t received the download link yet.

Only issue there - you can’t access MS Store usually when remote playing.

If it’s the same as MCC flights though you won’t be able to go in that way, you’ll need to go in via the Xbox Insider Hub and use the link from there to get to the store page, I don’t think it will be directly accessible via the store.
I may be wrong, but I suspect that step is where your plan falls down.
