PSA: Placing weapon pads backwards prevents players form picking up the weapon

The main reason why this is useful (at least to me) is because weapon pads conduct electricity. You can shoot them with a disruptor to hurt nearby enemies.

Right now, the only reasonable why to get Chain Reaction :chainreaction: kills is to get lucky when shooting at two spartans. Trying to force it by shooting a discarded weapon or a discarded weapon (both very small and very flat targets) is not very useful. You can also place hill pads on the wall, if you prefer to do that, but I don’t know if those will show up in modes that don’t require them.

Basically, I want the shock class of weapon to really be able to lean into their special trait of shooting around corners by having strategically placed “zap points” on maps.

P.S: Please, please, PAH-LEASE fix the Disruptor hit-registration. It’s supposed to kill in 6 shots (2 DoT bursts), but half of the time, the DoT doesn’t trigger. Even shooting a stationary but is in consistent.

And I already thought of a cool game type that can be done with this.

Infection, the zombie is under the floor with a disruptor and can see the humans’ names through the floor. The floor conducts electricity and the zombie shoots up to try and zap the humans. Maybe you could even script is so the floors change properties, essentially creating safe zones.
