PSA: Don't use dead bodies to create bloody war scenes. Or else...ban

Interesting. My next guess would have to be that they’re just playing it much more safe, or are being more strict on the rules (perhaps because it’s the flagship title?).

Considering how on point QA has been with this game I’m not surprised… does the right know what the left is doing?

That is one of the dumbest things I have heard about for maps in forge so far. Halo has always been a military sci-fi FPS and they don’t want dead bodies on a battlefield? It’s actions like this that really drive in the idea they want this game to be a “safe space” or when they demilitarize aspects of the game by renaming armor and weapons.

Remember when the games were rated M for Mature?

Infinite is not in a position to play safe. playing safe is playing with little change. playing with little change is death.

The pandering to a teen crowd and playing safe for a “Wider Audience” has done little if any widening for this franchise. People like halo because its Halo. quit trying to mass market this franchise and go back to your college frat roots of gore, guts, and more. Blaze it, raise it and slay it, corpo scum.

Perhaps in some areas, but others (such as legal areas) they really should. The map was much worse than “some blood on the ground” or someone being impaled with an energy sword. There was decapitation, tons of blood, and even dismemberment.

What was on that map was nothing new

Halo fans have seen these types of things from other official media

You want a example of a decapitated marine in a pool of blood? look up halo mona lisa elite stomp on google and go to images the first result is a screencap of the motion comic

You want a example of someone hanged to a wall? Halo reach’s first mission has a marine hung up on a wall

You want a example of someone getting smashed in with a gravity hammer or at least almost smashed in? Halo 3 odst where it has a cutscene where Romeo almost gets his chest absolutely destroyed by a brute chieftain and his gravity hammer only minimizing the damage via blocking it with a sniper and being saved before the chieftain could swing a 2nd time

You want a explanation of why the map is so brutal? look at what the current villain faction is lead by and look at that species official lore There’s a reason why they tend to be called brutes besides funny video game species name

Halo 5 firefight for me.

Hilariously enough. 343i and microsoft approved of the halo tv show being ultra violent and sexual themes…but no no. Halo games have to be rated T to get that sweet sweet broader audience

This is ridiculous! Ive been a fan of Halo since 2001, but if this is how the leadership at 343 and MS treat us, im done with Halo! I mean they even layed off some good people at 343 including the halo infinite dev team! I wish Bungie could have kept halo. It woupd have been better if it ended with reach. I feel bad for the developers that actually work at 343 and care about the game.

Except, it was. At least for the games. The stuff you listed was the more mundane stuff on the map. There was decaptation and dismemberment. Not to mention, at least one user reported it.

are we trying to attract children to play the game?

have you played halo CE? If so, have you seen the flood? You can shoot entire limbs off. Dismemberment is nothing new.

The flood. The zombies near unrecognizable as human. This falls under fantasy violence.

Yes. This equals more sales and, for a more selfish reason, it means less time waiting for a match. It also allows more people to enjoy Halo. If you get kids hooked on the game, it can easily become the titan it was. Look at a game like Fortnite, Fall Guys, or Among Us. For that matter, any median works. The backrooms, Siren Head, etc.

“Near unrecognizeable as human” as their literal heads dangle off to the side and you put your fist through keye’s skull.

And that still falls under fantasy violence. The blood that comes off of them isn’t even red. And for the normal marines (or even elites) there is no decapitation or dismemberment.

Ya i know I posted it here yesterday!! Y*

You can kill people and put dead boddies that are in forge on the ground but you can’t put blood next to the body!

343 Stated this game is rated “T” teen. WOW! I guess teens don’t watch army movies or action movies

Well my 17 and 18 year old kids play COD! ( Has Blood ) and Battlefield 2042 ( has blood ) and My Kids and I don’t to Woke and don’t do Pronouns PERIOD!!!
