PSA: Current State Halo 4 Multiplayer
Transmission Start;

Attention Waypoint Goers, I would like to bring this to everyone’s attention. Remember when Halo 2 was released? Well, from what I hear, it’s multiplayer was just HORRID at the start. 5 melee’s to kill, takes several Plasma Grenades to kill a fully shielded Spartan, overpowered hitscan 4-shot kill BR (I don’t want the BR85HB SR Battle Rifle to be overpowered, just balanced with the other loadout weapons). Among other things.

Now, the Halo 2 Multiplayer appeared to be in a similar hated state as Halo 4. Now, I know in Halo 4, it doesn’t take 5 melees to kill or several Plasma Grenades to kill, but there is an overpowered go to weapon, A.K.A. the M395 Designated Marksman Rifle that is hitscan, a miniature Sniper Rifle that literally cross-maps and ruins map movement and kills faster than most other weapons, has huge bullet magnetism, and huge aim assist.

Need I bring this video up???

You can see that the reticle was red, moved slightly and changed to blue, but that guy was getting hit and the reticle wasn’t even ON that player, and he still got killed with a blue reticle that could change to red if the shooter moved the reticle over to the right a bit.

I ask those who say it is fine: How is that not Overpowered?

As I was saying, Halo 2’s Multiplayer state, as in the how rediculous it can be, was similar, if not worse than Halo 4. A few months later, Bungie released a TU that fixed MANY of these problems, and Halo 2’s Multiplayer went on to prosper until the server’s had shut down.

If you guys can do me a solid, please, just make constructive criticism and give 343 Industries a CHANCE to fix this. Maybe the upcoming TU, maybe the one after that, but just please, give them a chance to fix this. It’s their Halo Game, what do you expect? Not all of them had experience in developing a Halo game, they might have experience in other games, but Halo is different. Of course it won’t be perfect.

Who knows? Maybe Halo 5 could be a balanced TUed version of Halo 2 and Halo 4 at it’s launch.

Also, I used this Classified Transmission format because I just prefer it to be this way when I make a Public Service Anouncement.

Sorry, about the bumping by the way, I just want this to be brought to everyone’s attention. I’m really sorry about it.

People always forget that the other Halos weren’t perfect either. Halo 2 was terrible at launch and it didn’t have a beta, Halo 4 - which didn’t have a beta either- had a pretty solid launch.

Nothing’s ever perfect. People really need to stop bringing up this Beta crap. Halo 2 didn’t have it, had a terrible launch, things got fixed a few months later. Halo 4 didn’t have a Beta, had a good launch, things will hopefully get fixed soon.
