What ever happened to being able to hear the other team when they are nearby? Did 343 take it out due to party chat options? Does anyone else miss this feature?

I don’t know why they took it out. They also took out the pregame lobby chat with the other team. Maybe they wanted to stop people getting mute banned? IDK, but I wish it were back.
