Proving Grounds will return later this week with the new name, HCS Summer Preview, and will include the next round of map and mode settings that we’d like to get your feedback on.

My guess is they’ll stick with the 6-7 maps used in HCS (are they all in Proving Grounds currently? Not sure) and take out the ones that aren’t (Overgrowth, Mercy, etc). Don’t foresee them adding maps to the HCS Summer Preview that aren’t in the HCS rotation.

Nevermind, I read that wrong. Yeah, just taking out the non-HCS maps.
… then again, you never know with 343. Sometimes they like to just randomly throw in things that nobody was asking for or even talked about a single time, anywhere (anyone remember speed boost? LOL)

Oh so you know when “later this week” is? These settings changes were announced this past Friday and that we would receive them this week. 343 typically releases updates to the game and playlists on Tuesdays. Tuesday came and went with no update, but this post was created where we were told “later this week.” Two days later wanting some clarification and transparency I came to this forum to find out when the playlist will be added back into the hopper. I realize we have not been given an exact date and time. Hence, why I asked.

Well it looks like later in the week is today. It’s up! Played my first game and came back from behind. Man, I didn’t realize how much I use the AR. Kind of missed it, but this is good for me. I love a challenge…now where is that BR!?
Nice thanks for doing something for the ranked arena playlists. how about a couple more maps even community made maps i think the remakes of the same old map with minor changes is getting old and boring im not a fan of warzone and only play social games to warm up and I’ll never pay for any microtransactions and why does it seem to me a huge focus on the magnum in halo 5 BTB has br starts its almost like the carbine dmr and br have been forgotten in halo 5 i know the maps are really small and you can cross map players with the magnum but I’d like a playlist with a procession weapon start other then the magnum even swat only has about a 40% start that isn’t a magnum
