Provide a calendar of when shop items will appear in the shop like the 20th anniversary items for Mcc

Something 343 could do to reduce a lot of the Fomo with this shop is make a calendar of when what items will be in the shop on certain days. This calendar could be an item that appears in the “News” section of the game so that players can reference it throughout the season.

This would be a great step in a way to make the shop system better. (obviously there’s other issues still like overpriced bundles, sometimes only 1 daily bundle a week, etc but this post isn’t to be about that)

343 did a good thing when they made the graphics for announcing all of the 20th Anniversary items for Mcc which also showed what items were available each week ahead of them being released.
A system like this would heavily benefit the player as there are probably a large number of players who are waiting for certain armor pieces/other cosmetics, etc to appear in the shop that we know exist from either artwork, the mobile waypoint app letting us see what armors are currently hidden but most likely planned for season 1, etc. For example I see a lot of players including myself asking about when will certain armor pieces come to the shop whether it be Emile’s Security shoulder, CQB helmet, Carter’s Commando shoulder, etc.
Being able to look at a calendar and see that X item will be in the shop would be a nice addition to the game and remove these constant questions of “Is X item available yet” and so on.

Or, they can stop being so selfish and add ways for players to earn currency like Halo 5 rec points.

While I agree with you, that still doesn’t solve the problem of we don’t know when certain shop bundles are gonna be available. For them saying this game was not suppose to have Fomo the shop has a lot of it but the idea I’m suggesting would remove some of the Fomo with the shop.

Just saying, that “FOMO” that they said was “not supposed to happen” was thrown out the window right after they said it. 343 word is not to be trusted after seeing their actions vs their word. They said a few things like all the talk about how the customization was going to be great, but lo and behold they have shown they don’t know how to or refuse to back up their own words.

Talk is cheap with gaming companies these days, it’s their actions that need to be paid attention to because it will always show the truth.
