Even starts in the “competitive” side of the game - Decent gameplay for an FPSCons:
Unfinished at launch so most people have already left - Monthly updates that fixes stuff that shouldve been fixed within a few days of being reported - Only wanting to pull in fans from other games instead of keeping the halo fans. Here’s a list of those games so you understand why halo might feel or play like something that isnt halo.
Call of duty: Default buttons, advanced mobility - Battlefield: Vehicles slowly getting worse to where we can now destroy it from a clip from the SMG. Large scale battles (warzone) - Counter Strike: Packs with randomized loot- 343 and activision dont understand that most CS players enjoy opening packs because the stuff in them is worth actual money. Thats why even cod players dont like randomized loot in their games as well. - League of Legends: Warzone is basically an FPS MOBA to please the biggest game crowd around and they couldnt care less. - TitanFall: Single use cards, Its there to waste 6 hours to get the weapon you want and youll lose it within 5 seconds if someone has called in a better weapon.4. Requisition system was poorly made. Good idea but the whole certification concept doesn’t make any logical sense except for it being a money grab. (“lets make it impossible for them to get good stuff for 400 hours unless they pay us money but then they still have to outroll all those gungooses even once they unlock the certifications they want which will encourage them to pay more money”).
343i’s inability to go back to what worked for halo absolutely disgusts me and I hate myself for still considering myself a Halo fan with how far this franchise is going down the toilet all because we cant seem to understand that gameplay didn’t need to be changed but we needed more tools/community features. These aren’t prioritized anymore since 343 only seems to care about being an eSport. We can’t just say it is one, it has to earn that. The professional players only support it since they dont want halo to be completely dead and they have a chance at winning a few million dollars 6. This one is the most important one of all: 343 claims that they want a community but how can this be true if they ignore us on their forums to go deal with people on reddit and the MLG420BLAZEIT guys on teambeyond. One of the reasons bungie is super loved is because they actually talk to the community on their forums.
Enhanced mobility was a cool idea but its obvious people dont enjoy it with Halo. Please take it out since there isnt one valid argument that it should actually be in the game. Just because someone read that john ran towards the pelican in a book, it doesnt mean the entire game should be changed to revolve around sprint.
These are my opinions and I know alot of people agree with me but that also means that people disagree with me.
P.S. The req system isnt “random.” This is why all the last things everyone needs to unlock are all mythics. When you find a chest piece, youll find the matching helmet in that pack or the next one.

you lost me on this one. If anything, all 343i has done is make John (or your Spartan) the ability to move like a super soldier. (That is of course what they are)

Nice overall summary on the current state of H5, although some things i may disagree with.
What I quotes is quite important as you pointed out. A certain high up recently posted here, and they were troll posts. They did manage to get one serious post in, but once the difficult questions came in they were nowhere to be found.
Recently, a pro player called out one of the multiplayer developers on Team Beyond for lying about Breakout polls and opinions. None the less a real poll was initiated by the community in which 40 pros participated in, and as a result Breakout has now been removed from HCS.
I’d just like to know what idiot is responsible for certifications.
“Hey, game designer B, I have an idea! Let’s make it so that you unlock certifications as you continue to open req packs so that way you can find more of certain items!”
“But game designer A, won’t that mean it’s progressively less and less likely that you’ll find something you don’t have a certification for as you go on? Don’t the players’ odds of finding both new weapons and weapons worth using drop off in proportion to how many certifications they have? And won’t that eventually mean that players need to grind exponentially longer for their last weapons for completion or break out the credit card and drop the pretense of the req system being anything more than a glorified slot machine?”

“Hey, we only have 200 permanent REQ’s.”
“Well we need 260, DAAMNIT!”
“OK. Let’s add a permanent REQ for every single-use weapon type. Just because.”

Wait, really? I thought they just made it more likely for you to find those items in future req packs. You mean to say that they function as a permanent req, even if you have none in your inventory?

What I’m saying is, A Certification takes the place of a Permanent REQ when you open a Silver or Gold pack. If you open a Gold pack and receive a Scorpion Certification, as well as another permanent unlock (such as armor), that Scorpion Certification counts as one of the two guaranteed permanent unlocks. The Armor being the 2nd.
