Pro's and Con's of Halo Infinite

Ladies and gentlemen, on December 6th 2021 the new halo game will hopefully revieve the franchise that has been lost through time.
I understand your time is valueable so let’s dive straight into it…

Pro’s-

  1. This game has so much potential, it truly can become the game of the decade. However, potential must be converted into excecution for it to be worthwhile.
  2. This game is not far off from being great. With a few tweaks and updates it can become and evolve into a great game if they listen to us and accept our feedback

Con’s-
Note: #1 #3 and #4 are related

  1. SLOW IT DOWN… (This is the biggest one, which is why it is listed as #1. Kills are no longer rewarding because you are too busy on the next thing. If you have ADHD this game is perfect for you. It is so fast pace ,however, there is no more stratigey anymore. In Halo 3 for example, there was room for strategy becasue it allowed for possibility. Not only that, I feel like you die sooooo fast in this game. This should have its own point but I placed it here to save room. Moreover, I’m not sure what is is, maybe because the maps where too small in the flights but there was no strategy only choas.)

  2. I found Halo Infinite confusing… ( I have played every Halo game made and this game is so fast I found the gameplay to be just utterly confusing. I understand this was a beta but if things don’t change it can be just average, when this game has the potential to be great. For example, to find a special gun like a Battle rifle or any of the new guns you must find it on a wall, or picked up by a dead player. There was no way to know where these guns where located, or when they would respawn.

  3. Frag granades everywhere… (stickies have no value anymore because everything is so fast pace. You are too focused on shooting a million bullets a minute with your assault rifle rather than taking your time when playing. Back when the goldern era of Halo 3 days, stickies had to be timed and it actually felt good and there was a rewarding feeling that occured. That no longer exists… at least in beta form)

  4. Double kills no longer possible… (like I said before, it is very fast pace, which takes out the strategy, which takes out the possibility of double kills, or triple kills. You would have to play the game itself to understand what i’m talking about here)

  5. Customization… Looking back on Halo 3, what made the recon armor so cool was not only was it hard to get, but you could see it mid game. Like I stated before, it is so fast pace nobody is looking at the armor anymore unless it is in the lobby. Gameplay is now centered around the Go-Go-Go mentality.

  6. Last thoughts… (not sure if there was no auto aim with the xbox flights but it felt like none existed. The game needs to fix its aiming system. It felt broken and incomplete, and I say that truthfully. Let’s please fix the pistol rate of fire. I found myself getting killed in .2 seconds from across the map from a pistol. Wow. A pistol, this wasn’t a rifle designed to go far, but a short range pistol that is overpowered for sure. I have never wrote a review for anything that has taken me this much time to get my thoughts together and type them up like this. I have taken time to do this because I know there are thousands of people who can relate to one if not all of my points listed above. I type this in hopes that it get be read by someone who can do something about it. I want to note there are probably other things I forgot to write down, and even more pro’s to this game that I have listed. However, I felt there was so much room for improvement and I hope 343 can get it right before release date.

You can press the dpad to see nearby weapons, it also has a little loading bar which confirms how close the weapon is to respawn. You have the outline on the wall of what weapon will spawn.

The loading bar is super helpful actually as now you know of it is worth waiting around for 2 seconds to get the weapon. In older games you would have to keep coming back and checking.
