There’s a Prophets Bane on the Molten infection map and I think that it should go or be replaced with a different weapon. Its basically an auto last man standing in infection and when someone gets it it tends to sap the fun out of the game, either making any efforts as a survivor to be the last man standing futile or by taking away the uniqueness of the adavantages that the infected have, which are being invisible and deadly in melee. Overall, I think that the map would be more enjoyable if the weapon, which is clearly unbalanced for the gametype, were removed.
It takes skill to get the sword. I think it should stay. Let someone risk their life getting it. Also not many people know it’s there.
It ruins any game type in which it appears, not just infection.

As someone who has played a decent chunk of infection games, I disagree. Getting the sword isn’t that hard if you know how to time your stabilizer, thrust and ground pound abilities. The bane is a crutch, and therefore needs to go.

It doesn’t ruin Warzone. That title can easily go to the answer and vehicle spam.

Well I guess if more people become aware of it and that it is ruining the fun. It probably would be best to remove it.

It’s not that the lack of knowledge is a good reason to remove it, it’s the fact that you can easily secure a guaranteed 25-50 points per round. (last man and survival bonuses offer 25 points.) once you get the weapon. It makes winning an infection game easier than killing a mythic hunter in warzone.

Sounds like a risk/reward scenario to me. Keep it.
They should remove invisible infected.
343 combing alpha infected with ghost infection.
Super fast, not on radar and invisible?

Risk/reward is fine but not when the reward outweighs the risk as much as this one does. Also, once someone knows how to get the Bane they can get it fairly consistently and there ceases to be much risk involved. If there was something like a CE pistol there instead, like the ones hidden on other maps, there would still be an adavantage to getting the weapon but the game wouldn’t be made unbalanced as a result.

I would also like to mention that the lava pillar has a hidden teleporter inside it; you have to be upstairs and boost into the pillar to minimize chances of taking damage. Both the survivors and infected can use it. If you teleport successfully, you’ll end up in the corner where the Hydra is located.
