This is complete and utter -Yoink-. Microsoft and 343i have gone off the deep end with this one. Halo 5’s Warzone mode is officially pay to win/skip.
ENOUGH WITH THE BULL -Yoink- ING SH1TT MICROTRANSACTIONS! It used to be okish cuz it was random so nobody would get a significant unfair advantage. Now, you can straight up buy Mythic weapons all -Yoink- ing month! Totally fair! Not pay to win at all! Stop -Yoink- ing Halo into oblivion with this nonsense.
To anyone who thinks it’s not pay to win, that it’s just one pretty good sword that you have to wait till req level 6 to use: just wait till later when they release the Nornfang pack. Then have a jolly good time getting sniped to hell in warzone. Then tell me it’s not pay to win. Then tell me it’s fair.
I’ve officially lost all respect for 343i and Microsoft. They clearly don’t care about the quality of the game experience or the wellbeing of Halo, they only care about money.

I mean, I can see its use for people who don’t have the cert or many items to begin with and who want to spare the extra bucks or points to get it. It can really help out those who don’t have all those high tier REQs. Now I do agree that this is a little over the edge to dedicate a whole MONTH to it. That seems like too many high tier REQs all at once, and for those of us who are not getting the packs (Like me, I’m not gonna pay 10 bucks for something I’ll never use), it’s gonna be hell to go up against them. Then again, there’s always gonna be counters to everything.
I’m not defending the packs. I’m not supporting them either. I’m just stating the possible use for the packs and the probable negative outcome that could come of it in-game. I hope I didn’t trigger anyone.
