Prophets Bane needs removed from the game.

The sword is way over powered. If it stays in the game it needs to be a T9 req. I was playing warzone as I do 6 hours daily and some guy was able to stay in our fortress the entire game. If the sword is not removed then there needs to be a timer on the invis not infinite. I was so mad I thew my freakin controller and it exploded. This is the ONLY weapon I have a problem with. FIX IT I do not care how I pay alot of freaking money to MS and this reflects directly on them. I will also be calling them and reporting this. They will probably do nothing but I am still going to call until someone gets off there butt and does something.

You can call in invis or a rocket launcher and kill him. Be sneaky and adapt. It might be generic but… git gud.
BTW I don’t see them removing the prophets bane from Halo 5 at all.

The Sword is not overpowered at all. It is supposed to be an ambush weapon, something you can use to clear out an armory or something with and still be sneaky with if anyone comes in to stop you. You need to be knowledgeable about where he is. Active Camo is NOT 100% invisible. It leaves little outlines around the player which you can use to identify where he is. Use an explosive or something like that if he tries to lunge at you. Stick him, use a splinter nade, rockets, whatever.

I can understand that sometimes the game gets frustrating, but the prophet’s bane isn’t particularly hard to deal with. There is a weapon attachment that detects camo, camo isn’t perfect and there is a ‘shimmer’ for lack of a better term when they move, you can also predict where people are with camo fairly easily just think about where you would hide if it were you. You can also try calling in your own prophet’s bane or an Ad Victorium to even the playing field. If you have a mic you can get a buddy to draw him out and the pounce once you know where he is. The prophet’s bane is working the way it is intended to, it only has 10 ‘charges’ and then it is done.

I don’t think calling Microsoft would be very useful. “Hi! I play halo and I die when people use this one weapon.” They have actual support issues to deal with and that kind of thing will only distract them.

I can’t really conceive of how that is possible.

Equally you could just not get so stressed out about a video game…?

If you’re an avid gamer, you’d be lying if you said you’d never gotten stressed out over a game before.

I don’t necessarily agree with the OP, but that sort of thing sounds very annoying.

it doesnt happen like he explained all that often. i mean really how often does a guy pull a bain and sit in a base the whole game. there are multiple ways to avoid that, biggest one. dont spawn at that base anymore

It’s not just the fact that it has 10 charges. The infinite invis the sword provides gives a clear unfair advantage to users of the sword. They can use the sword as invis switch over real fast to another weapon kill the player and switch back over to the sword. I know there is a small delay but I seen players do this all match long. Which can add up to alot of kills over the course of a game. I have a ton of these PB’s and will not use them. If they will not change it at all then make it a higher level req, IMO that is what would be fair. I know some of you will disagree with me and I am prefectly fine with that. I am not here to yell or say something inappropriate cause I know it would lead straight to me being ban. At the very least the development team could take a look at it, thats all I am asking.

Anyway cya guys in game have a nice day.

No, it does not. What you need to do is to adapt.
This is Warzone. There’s a counter for anything.

Have a question which weapon attachment is that I can’t recall as of right now which one it is?

You play WZ for 6 hours a day and you don’t know how to counter a prophet’s bane user? If he’s constantly killing you or your team in your base, then gee I don’t know, maybe get an overshield or camo with a power weapon or SMG and go look for him. Also, let your team know even if they’re not using their mics so the ones listening will be on more alert for him.

> I was so mad I thew my freakin controller and it exploded.

Lol, you should probably take a short break if that’s getting you wound up to the point of throwing a controller.

I believe it’s the cog sights.

Or you could kill him and take it for yourself. You may die a few times in the process, but if he just camped your base all game, it shouldnt be too hard to find him. Invisibility is rather useless if you do any kind of moving, so just sit back and watch for him to attack a teammate. Nadeshot him and enjoy your free prophets bane

“This weapon is stupid OP!”

“I have a lot of this stupid OP weapon but I refuse to use them!”

It’s a Mythic REQ. It’s supposed to be powerful. Do you also think the Nornfang is OP and needs a nerf?

The Prophets Bane is frustrating that is for sure, but so are a lot of other weapons when you get killed by them. That does not mean that they are OP, it just means that is a weapon players used some good REQ level for. The user can charge 10 times with it and becomes visible when they are moving or kill someone, not that hard to beat. You can also lock onto them with the High 5 or Hydra if you know the general area they are located in.

I wouldn’t mid if there was a version where you didn’t turn invis. But I think it’s an okay weapon.

You are aware that you are able to shoot back at them even if they shoot first, right? Just because they shoot first doesn’t mean they will always kill you. They could miss or run out of ammo in their clip. If they have an explosive weapon, i.e. rocket launcher, railgun, etc, look for the outline first before they switch and you can shoot them, dodging the shot if you have to. If they’re behind you, all I can suggest is to be alert and hear fr any charging noises like the charge sound of a Railgun.

Y’know, I would think that anyone that views a particular weapon as “overpowered” would be more inclined to try it out and gauge how powerful the weapon is for themselves. I strongly encourage you to use it at least once, just to see how you would use it. And, I am going to say this RIGHT NOW: If you use it and you die immediately, that DOES NOT mean that it sucks. It means that YOU suck USING it. Practice with it, learn how it works.

Come on now, you can only get at least 10 kills with it before the ammo depletes and your cloaking is permanently disabled until you replace it.

ReQs being overpowered is just the point of Warzone in the first place. There are so many weapons that have very quick TTKs and instant TTKs, like the Answer and Nornfang.

Still not as bad as The Answer

Probably is the Threat marker attachment or whatever that detects players by Waypoint if looked at for a short amount of time, I don’t know if it actually efficiently tracks camo so correct me if I am wrong here.

(EDIT) - It does not track camo users unless they enter your Red dot range (by hitting them or them moving to quickly), which is useless against fully invisible camo users.
