I had one prophets bane I got in a daily win pack and I decided to use it. The game was extremely close at 750-780 and warden just spawned on raid on apex 7. The spire was being taken over and I had to stop it. I got my prophets bane and crept around the warden, surprised no one had seen me. I was in the clear… until I got assassinated. I stared in disbelief as my Spartan got spun upside down and my head crushed, and then tebagged repeatedly. I spawned at the west armory and sprinted outside… only to get killed by my own prophets bane! At this point I was furious , though I had respect for that player. If he didn’t kill me, I would have rekt their entire team, and possibly gotten the warden kill for my team, which would have given us the win. It was a hard fought warzone game and it was fun, even though we lost 1000 to 930.

I really enjoy carving up fools with their own weapons/ghosts… Very satisfying. I have 10 prophets, have never felt the need to use it. That said, i commiserate with you as your experience is common to me when deploying a legendary weapon. The only legendary weapon I have gotten to use properly is Nornfang, it was epic, you turn fire red when you equip it…

You just pull the trigger and the closest enemy dies. It has upgraded active camo that makes you completely invisible even while sprinting. Maybe throw in a permanent overshield?
This happened to me the first time I decided to use the Nornfang. I feel your pain
It’s like there’s just a big marker over you’re head whenever you spawn in with a legendary weapon.

Over shield would definitely do.
I have one prophets bane. It’s more of a collectable than a weapon for me since I’ll most likely never use it.

That’s why I almost never use mythic or mythic legendary weapons… especially if I don’t have many of that weapon

Bro, never use it until you get the certification. I’m saving up my req points and I have about 165K, and I will do all of the bronze silver and gold progression so I can get another one. Going for a million during my 3 month summer break!

Really? I sell all mine, I usually get one every 3-4 Gold Packs (Despite being Mythic)

There’s not, most of the time it’s just you choosing the wrong time/circumstances. Which is why I usually spawn my Power weapons from the REQ station at the bases, than before spawn. Because I know how screwed up the spawn system is, it’s safer to do it alive. Just gotta learn how the game works, and you’ll be fine. :3

I’m not seeing the connection here. You could have been dual-wielding Scarab Guns, but that still wouldn’t have saved you from getting assassinated…

No, no, no, unlimited lunge range, just imagine how beautiful it would be to see a spartan rocket up into the air and stab a banshee
