So far, I like what I see for Halo 5G… except for one thing. The Prophet’s Bane. I hate how it looks. It seems… distorted. What is your opinion on the Prophet’s Bane’s design?
It looks great. 
There’s three possibilities here:
1: A lonely energy sword ate too much, got a little fat, renamed itself “Prophets Bane” and set out to destroy all that opposed it.
2: Two energy swords loved each other very very much and one energy sword ended up with a bun in the oven while daddy nicknamed mommy “Prophets Bane” because of mood swings.
3: Someone at 343i got a little overzealous with some designing.
Not a huge complaint but I really hope this isn’t the one and only energy sword design because the Blue Beauty that it’s always been is pretty iconic and I’d hate to see this take over.
Coloration is nice, I just think the actual shape of the weapon is undesirable. It looks bulbous, awkward, unwieldy, etc.
It doesn’t seem very intricately re-imagined, but hat’s not necessarily a bad thing. I like seeing any alteration to the original sword. Like the infected sword in Halo 2 Anniversary (only a red reskin but awesome).
I agree with Lil D0ZA. It looks really strange, especially that animation where the spartan stabs with an overhand grip.
