Too many times do I go into a team game, flare my reticule over a reactor, flare it over the player’s base, and to my sadness - never get that reactor to share with a teammate.
This is a team game. When someone flares on the map over a reactor on the map that you can garrison and use - IT MEANS GET OUT SO YOUR TEAMMATE CAN USE IT.
Please be aware that others without microphones want that reactor and you should share if you want power turret and/or gauss early game.
Sharing is caring and when you don’t share I’m just going to resign and ruin your perfect little build you were working on so I can sink to the level of d-bagness you are displaying.
See I just played a game with some good kids who shared Congrats to them - we got 2 power turret armies and a tier 3 raging arbiter on the field in less than 8 minutes. The other team was still focused on building up to their tech levels while we dominated them.
Share your resources that are garrisonable. That is the point. If you have a reactor on the map - let people use it and get free tech! It is worth every penny saved and the time you make up matters if you use those armies while you have the advantage
Well this is how i deal with it im a covy guy so i take my leader to the reactor to take it over. Then after i killed the guys at both reactors my nooby teammate wants it well im not giving it to him im the one that killed the guys at the reactor so i get to use it and then this noob quits the game well not like i needed him since me and my teammate still won. so stop trying to take the reactors from teammates whoever gets to it first and kills the guys gets it not what noob can call them first.

Good luck with that. Honestly, I think the OP got some people that actually understand the meaning of teamwork.
Personally, I with the gentleman who posted about him using the reactors. But, honestly, I get annoyed if teammates kill it quickly with flamethrowers or with warthogs when there’s Spartans/leaders on the field. I can guarantee you those units won’t hold their ground, even with 3stars and full upgrades. That’s a fact.
I had no problem sharing the reactors, I just want the kills.

You share it. Doesn’t matter who got it first. It’s called micro managing your infantry unit so it doesn’t run away. You hop in and out of it so players can use it an upgrade. That way 3 players can use it instead of just you.
People like you enrage me. It’s a team game. TEAMWORK. Not being like “i’m super leet - I gotz reactorz and u didz nothingz. I get it and F’z uz.”

Once you get the upgrade you need - that’s all you need the reactor for. The only real reason for the reactor is to upgrade to power turret and upgrading your arbiter/Banshees. Once you get some stuff upgraded - attack. It’s not about keeping units in them. rofl - if you are playing a game that long you have some underlying issues with your gameplan.
Spartans in a reactor are a waste. Use marines, upgrade your tanks, and then share with your other teamate who can upgrade his tanks. Now you have 2 tank armies that are upgaraded and you can attack the enemy together and win

I would rather take both reactors and then get a scarab thats how I play aggresive rush tactics then i get alot of points.
I was always annoyed by that and found it made Reactors OP. Granted, it is decent teamwork, but there was no cooltime for the Reactors. They should have added like a 10 second cooldown before you can get any units in. Would make attacking Reactors more successful since they’re only one click away from getting back to where they were and put more emphasis on defending those Reactors if you want to share them.
Not really, if a unit leaves there’s like 3 seconds before another one can jump into it and instantly get the bonus. Not really enough time to make a difference.
I usually just let my teammates have the reactors. I don’t bother with them. I have ways of doing stuff fast, and having to build infantry to get a reactor would just get in my way.

I never said anything about putting the Spartans in the reactors, nor do i have ever done that. That’s always a bad idea.
I do agree with the fast upgrades, but sometimes, you can’t just pass those up, especially if you’re Cutter. Keeping those can mean ODST drop or not.
if there are reactor hooks on the map, the whole team should build around one person taking them(UNSC should use hogs so once the reactors are taken they can help attack/defend), while the other 2 play defence/offence. then they should share them.
Random 2v2 last night I pelicaned a marine to a reactor on terminal and tried to get in it my partner was in it. After flaring he flares the reactor I’m already in. As if to say you already have one. If I find him I will kill him.

Why not share those reactors at the same time? You hop in after I upgrade to power turret since I know you won’t have the 3k to buy the scarab anytime before I upgrade to PT?
Makes more sense to help the whole team get strong rather than just 1 of them…

What a silly stance to take Newyankalt. Of course you should be agressive and take the reactors quickly, but denying them from your team is plain silly.
Say your in a 3v3 matchup, 3 covy vs 3 covy. Your team allows you to be greedy and hold both reactors, then build a scarab. The other team swaps them and allows all three players to build scarabs about the same time as you. You love fast scarabs, why not 3 fast scarabs?

You must be joking or something. I can’t believe how dumb some people can be. First of all you can still get your little scarab if you SHARE your reactor and so can your teammates. Second you call making a scarab an aggresive rush ? lol have you ever played an RTS game before ?
I used to share reactors like on exile ill take out the guys at both reactors and keep 1 for my self and give the other to a teammate i usaually still do this but on maps with one reactor i dont do this because in the past i got out of my reactor and let my teammate use it and he never gave it back so i took my prophet and killed my teammate. I have also never been in a game were lots of people share reactors.
