I am grateful that 343i are adding maps, but when will be the day we can see actual maps instead of Forge maps and reskins of other maps added to the game? The Forge maps are also kind of ugly to look at.
The term “proper” will vary person to person. I personally do not care if it’s a dev map, forge map, resins, ect ect as a map is a map to me. As long as it plays good is all I care about, which any that I listed can do.
We got a few oropwr maps one being riptide which sucks as a slayer map.

I actually find Riptide to be a really fun Slayer map.

Same, I think it has a nice weapon layout though I think I favor the strongholds layout a bit more.

I unfortunately have yet to play anything but Slayer on Riptide… 
I look forward to getting the chance to do that though!
