We’ve heard 343 will be rotating new playlists every week, and as the majority (in this case, 100% of players) do not want this, there has been no update to as they are continuing to do this or not. My proof, is that I still play Infinity Slayer/Big team infinity more than SWAT. How does this help? It shows that my favorite playlist, slayer, is what I chose to play, and you shouldn’t hinder that. Some people like playing CTF, some like Oddball, other people like SWAT. You should not remove ANY playlists, as there are hardly any to begin with.
lol proof
Honestly, I don’t understand their reasoning for that. Why not just have all the playlists available all the time? If you try to argue “Too many playlists on the screen”, organize it like Reach did. Have your team slayer, FFA, team objective, flood, and you’re good.

I’m perfectly fine with the idea, there goes your 100%.
In all honesty, I look at it this way, when Reach had a playlist catering to everything that was asked for, the playlist populations suffered for it. With every body having what they wanted, it was spread far too thin, to the point that playlists were removed due to low populations. With the rotational playlists (keyword being rotational … just because a playlist is gone next week, DOES NOT mean it will be gone forever), every game type featured get a chance to shine.
343 has gone so far as to compromise, as shown in the weekly bulletin, if a playlist is popular enough, it gets to stick around another week. If not, away it goes. People are liking SWAT, so it gets an encore, while Snipers is added. At some point, there should be a Grifball playlist too. It’s the fairest way to give people what they want, without letting people get used to it, and have to deal with it being yanked away later, kinda like the double XP playlist in Halo 3.
I’m also fine with it. Just play something different, if you only like one playlist then try others, as you likely haven’t tried everything there is to offer yet.

So by that logic, we can just take out infinity slayer itself, because it will be back right?
SWAT is one of the most populated playlists across all Halo games. Do you have any idea how hard the community fought to even get it in Halo 3 in the first place? I can understand hoppers and rotating playlists. Things like fiesta, rocket race, or anything that was in action sack. Hoppers should be fun things or community created. I have no interest in playing the garbage that is infinity slayer, or anything related to it. Give me SWAT, Snipers, or watch me leave because of it.
Why is it that 343 seems to be the only company that tries to baby it’s community. If they’re so “interested seeing the numbers”, they why do they drive them away in record amounts? In Halo 2 and 3 on the forums, everyone complained as well, but the majority of the threads were for the same 5 things. Reach and Halo 4, we have people complaining abut EVERYTHING.
Playlist can be combined. No reason why we can eliminate 4-5 and just make an objective list. Why can’t grifball fans play their game? Why do SWAT players need to be confined to customs for possibly months at a time? IT MAKES NO SENSE!
All I can tell you, is that if my playlists are all hoppers, then watch me hop away. And I’m sure I’m not the only one. I don’t know why you’d throw classic halo in the trash to attract more players, to just watch them leave and play the games you try to emulate.
Your post fails. I think its fine. But that also means they can start taking away playlists as well then too. SWAT is doing well, so I hope it becomes Permanent. I think Snipers will fair well too.
However Oddball, CTF and KOTH are lacking in the amount of players. So will they keep the Launch Playlists and rotate new ones? Or will they consolidate them into an Objective Playlist with a variety of Game Modes?

i persnally am not because i am waiting to play alot more for two modes and to know they arent gonna be standard kinda makes me a little upset in reach and 3 my fave modes were double and multi team i think standard slayer is boring so i have to wait weeks/months? to play htem once they add them in between each time and play modes i am not that fond of

they are only rotating out the new playlists not the starting ones so slayer,CTF,oddball,Dominion, ext will all stay swat will eventually leave and a new playlist will show up snipers is next then snipers will leave and so on so don’t worry your favorite gametype isn’t going anywhere
