PROOF that the Chief gets NEW armor (Not some Nano-Tech upgrade)

For some reason people still believe that the Mark VI has some nano-tech in it that allows itself to upgrade while in cryo. Honestly I have no idea where somebody even got that idea.
Just as proof to go against this claim, I want you to watch this. (Skip to 1:02)
Notice that Cortana is 7 years old. This places the scene in 2556-2557. Also Frank O’Connor has said that when Halo 4 takes place, Cortana is 7 years old. This means that the episode takes place soon before Halo 4.

Now also notice that the reveal trailers for each Halo game is generally different than the final game. People seem to forget this. Remember the Halo 2 announcement trailer? It’s almost completely different than what happened in the game. Same thing goes for the Halo 3 one.

Also I don’t see how people think that this looks like a upgraded version of this.

I thought you said you weren’t going to be returning to the forums again. Ha, they always come back.

Instead of abandoning yall to the haters, I’d figure I’d try to save you.

People are getting the nano-tech-upgrades-during-cryo from Halo: Glasslands. What people don’t seem to understand is that they were talking about the Mark VII, not the Mark VI.

Uh huh.

I’ll buy it

It isn’t an upgrade, nor new armor infact after alternating between the pics a bit, it CLEARLY looks like it misses some armor parts from the complete MARK VI armor, it’s obvious it’s the same armor damaged by Chief’s past battles.

The only damaged part is the scratch along the chest. You can CLEARLY tell that it’s new armour. It’s as different to the Mark VI armour as the Mark VI armour is different to the Mark V.

Looks like the UNSC has made some up grades to their ships

With your hundreds of threads a day. Not a bad thing, though.

What’s bad is that BLUE IS MIIINE.

That’s like saying a Scorpion Tank is just a Warthog with pieces missing.

If you read glasslands you would know that spartan armor can repair and upgrade it self in cryo… im not saying thats what happend becuase the changes are dromatic BUT it is possibble although i think you need a ship thats in one peice.

MARK VII, NOT MARK VI. MARK VII WASN’T MADE UNTIL AFTER THE WAR.

Is there a need for everything to be in blue?

You just got embarrassed, and made a fool of. Congrats.

For the last time, it has been confirmed long ago that Halo 4 takes place in 2553.

Where? It’s been CONFIRMED, Frank said it several times, that Cortana is 7 years old. She was “born” in 2549. How could Halo take place in 2553?
