Keep in mind that I usually only rank onyx or diamond on Breakout.

I wasn’t that bummed about it, I did decent and I was playing with randoms. It’s just unfortunate that this happens in a competitive game.

I posted something about a week ago on how I am
a diamond 1 getting matched against onyx every arena game I play. Tonight we had a team of diamonds and we get placed against half to full teams of 1600-1700 onyx. This isn’t enjoyable at all. There’s plenty of diamonds or even platinums we can face and yet we don’t get the easy games like these onyx are getting when they face us. As much as I like to believe I’m that good, I’m just not right now.

Just like to point out that there is not even 200 champions in breakout and with a low population playlist such as breakout, I wouldn’t be surprised that that happened

the population is low in breakout, and you only need 1800 csr for a champion in the playlist, it’s really not suprising that you would come up against champions.

i don’t see what’s so funny about it, there is no difference, champions are usually just above average players that play more, their rank doesn’t make them better.

You had a positive K/D against 3 champion level players. Awesome! I consider myself to be doing okay if I 0 out against diamond players.
It’s because you’re playing with 2 Onyx’s. Most likely they were high Onyx’s too, which means you’ll get those champion ranks in matches.

Those were randoms… I was playing solo, which I usually don’t do.
you were placing, i believe halo will place you against better opponents based off of how your previous season went and even current placement matches. i know for ffa i started off playing against golds and near the end i was playing high champs. Just my thought to why you played them.
How is this broken? That’s how it works. There’s no enough champs and high-onyx to have them constantly match each other. Champs in most playlists aren’t even that good compared to the rest of the population, mostly due to the fact that all of the pros have been focusing on HWC and haven’t placed this season.
Went in Team Arena at 1600 with other onyx 1500’s and matched champ 1/8/18/24 and, surprise surprise, it was a game till the end which was pretty even.
