proof(kinda) of Covenant in Halo 4

Sorry if this is old or have already been resolved. But due to recent post on the forums I figured no ones sure yet.

Anyway! I haven’t seen this brought up anywhere but when you watch the “Halo 4 E3 Teaser” look at the “4” at the end. You will notice it has the familiar honeycomb pattern which is scattered across almost all of the Covenant Technology.

I’m pretty sure that’s just the design of the logo.

Credit where credit is due, at least you put some thought into it.

Huge chunks of Forerunner tech were ahem repurposed by the Covenant during their reign. The Covenant, at least in the form we recognize it, is dead.

The Covenant as we know it will never appear in the Reclaimer Trilogy. However, if Sangheili or remnants of the Covenant were to make an appearance, as long as they were not the main focus of the story, I would be cool with it.
