This is IGN’s community vote for which of the two games: Halo 4 and CoD were the better game… this is proof that Halo 4 is a great game and that all the complainers are whining here and the others are either waiting for xmas to buy Halo 4 or are just playing the game.
It really doesn’t matter. Perception is reality. So people are going to think and feel whatever they believe is true. I have not seen a game that needs updates. Hopefully 343i continues to make updates but at a more rapid pace. :=)
Actually I still find Halo 4 to be crap, but BO2 is worse.
If Halo 3 was there, id vote Halo 3.
The thing here is there was nothing good that released this year besides Far Cry 3, and thats not even MP concentrated.
Anyways, just because Halo 4 won doesnt mean its a good game, it just means people prefer Halo 4 to Black Ops 2. Still, it might suck (like it does to me).
The whiners are 2% of the halo 4 population. Other gaming forums are praising the game and even the halo facebook page is full of people that love it.

Halo 4 is a great game but people don’t care about other people’s opinion on a game.

just because i prefer getting hit in the face rather than getting kicked in the nuts does not mean getting hit in the face is great…
Saying a game is better than another doesn’t make it good.

Yeah, Borderlands 2 won it on the VGA, there are many game award things you know? Like, in IGA, Halo 4 won best multiplayer and game of the year.

I dont care about awards. I played Halo for the past 5 years and I know this one is not GOTY worthy, but of course there are different opinions.

No, you werent. Im just saying games shouldnt be more valued just because a very popular guy said this was his GOTY/ his favourite.

Both games suck. People aren’t complaining for no reason. We’re complaining because there are so many things wrong with halo 4 and the game just blows.
That isn’t proof just opinion.

And I agree with you although the person I was replying to thought so since he apparently thought competition for Borderlands 2 sucks based on awards when it didn’t win the award everywhere.

That’s why the population on halo 4 is worse than any other halo game and there is already a been a $20 price drop. The game just blows and halo isn’t halo anymore. 343 changed halo too much and none of the changes they made were good.

Or that it was a great shooter with good writing and fantastic co-op support. But no, it has to be that Halo sucks for something else to do well.
I’ve been playing Halo CEA today for a change just to see what the people who think that Halo 4 isn’t Halo are on about.
THANK GOD HALO 4 ISN’T HALO.
I can’t drive the Halo CEA Warthogs because they have no acceleration (a lawnmower can outrun a Halo CEA Hog) and they flip and throw you out at the smallest bump. Offroad vehicle it isn’t. The Halo 4 Hog in comparison is perfect. Still can roll but gives you the chance that you can roll right over without throwing you out. Oh and it can zoom around just right for what it is.
The combat is lame in Halo CEA too. REALLY boring. Halo 4 in comparison is epic.
The only thing that knocks Halo 4 on its heels is that it isn’t finished. That is all… it just hasn’t had the rough spots smoothed down.
If any of you have CEA, just try the final drive to escape the blast. There is an achievement if you manage to not flip the Hog in the escape which says it all. I think 343i were having a dig at the original Bungie Hog to be honest. I almost made in and then an explosion that was nowhere near me flipped my Hog so much I did a double 360 end over end. It’s total bulldoodoo.
So now I’m going to play Halo 4 and not whine anymore. Halo CE/CEA was a right dogs breakfast in comparison.
Halo 4 is a great game. It’s just that alot of people think it could have been better.
There are so many things they neglected in this game compared to the other Halo games.
Here are a few:
Can’t change the weapons of the infected players in the Flood gametype.
Can’t drop the Yoinking flag, and there is no option in the settings to change that.
Race is gone. I don’t think 343 is aware of all the racetracks people make…
The DMR is overpowered, and the overall best rifle to use, making it the go-to weapon for competitive play. It’s Reach all over again.
The way I see this, 343 is appealing more to the CoD fans than the Halo fans.
