The clip doesn’t show a headshot. The medal isn’t even a headshot medal. Kill (medal) - Halopedia, the Halo wiki

And this is on Xbox One according to the title. Not MCC “PC”.

Auto Aim is a huge problem for MCC “PC” but this clip doesn’t show it.

In Halo CE, you get a medal for basic kills. That wasn’t a headshot.

Also that looked more like bullet magnetism than aim assist. Bullet magnetism is present for both input options

But lets also look at the crutch that is needed for controller. Because making very precise movements is near impossible, auto aim is necessary. So, in order to make a game ‘fair’ it is put in games on PC. So what does that do? It auto targets, mostly to the head, is games like COD, its very exploitable if you fan the aim button. But on PC, in HALO MCC PC, with it being so blatantly high, it isn’t a crutch, it’s an unfair game mechanic that, at its base definition, is cheating. Due to the simple fact that Mouse players do not have such an option and actually have to rely on serious skill to combat something that requires little to no skill. AA in MCC PC is an unfair game mechanic that needs to be fixed soon and was only implemented because everyone knows that controllers are worse than mouse and keyboard. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be in the game.

It’s not the crutch that people are complaining about, it is the level of the crutch. Also, the bullet magnetism is not the same for KBM and controller. I play exclusively on the KBM and my shots don’t register sometimes when they are on the head. I feel there is NO bullet magnetism for KBM, if you could provide me with some definite proof (video, if possible) then it’d be wonderful.

I understand that aim-assist is important for controllers but aim-assists + bullet magnetism is pointless as the BM effectively removes the drawbacks of bloom. You don’t have to aim at someone to hit them, you aim in the general direction somewhere around the head and BOOM! HEADSHOT! What this does is increase the “effectively hitbox” of the opponents of the controller users by a large margin making the controller users easier to shoot. I distinctly remember being shot around cover on multiple occasions. It would be better if they remove bullet-magnetism across all inputs and keep the aim-assist for controller. Once again, I am unable to detect any BM for KBM whenever I play, if you were to provide me with some video evidence that KBM has bullet magnetism then I can raise a support ticket since this would imply that it is a problem exclusive to me.

Probably defeat the point of crossplay if PC only plays with PC while XBox only plays with XBox…

I just don’t get it. I have decent experience with a controller, very little with mouse and my mouse sucks. I have still tested both inputs and my performance is generally the same. Are you people against AA really THAT good with a controller, or am I missing something here. Both inputs have their advantages and if you know how to take use of them you can do just fine, no?

Somehow you got it out though. But ya, there is some serious censorship on one of the most important issues right now. Even mention aim assist and the post gets locked instantly, unfortunately.
