I got some promotion items and don’t care who gets them, people have a third party resell and make bank from it, this shouldn’t be, they need to stop with promotion items at this point and put them on the market to kill this resell market
I much rather them bring back some of the ultimate challenge content like willow tea
I redeemed my code before the promotion ended but its still locked for me. I doubt 343 will ever consider bringing “vaulted” items back because no one played the game when it first game out (or at the very least not a lot of people did.)
I don’t really care if promotional items would become available in the shop but I would like 343 to keep "Single Reward Vectors”.
I like the way H3 did unlocks the most cause your armor was an expression of what kind of player you where.
If that means the Razor coating is not coming to the shop so be it. Although it is sad that not all promotions are available everywhere and they stated it could be an exception to the single reward vector.
It also plays more into fomo which is bad in my opinion but single reward vectors are more important to me than fomo.
Just create more coatings. I don’t understand why this would be a proposal. People paid to get what they thought were limited time cosmetics. It creates rarity, which is a good thing. Unique Spartans is what we are trying to get to right? So why would you risk annoying paying customers by making their purchase worthless?
If you sell something as being limited time or promotional then they should stay that way. Create new stuff. For example, I bought the funko for northwest sky, not even a year ago. And now you are talking about making that widely available to buy? Well you better charge the same price as the funko then.
I do however think that promotional items should be done more globally where possible, but can understand why it isn’t always possible.
