People are spending more time being mad and less time having fun. What a shame. You all act like they haven’t given us their best. You just poop on everything. Please be grateful and construct thoughtful, helpful posts. 343 is doing a great job listening to the community and making changes. Every time they do people just find something else to be angry about.

Does it occur to you that maybe we’re mad because we aren’t having fun? While Infinite is better than other FPS competitors by a large margin, it’s not a good comparison either cos their competitors all suck.
You know what Infinite feels like? It feels like a chef using premium quality ingredients to give you a mediocre dish. Excellent graphics, physics, amazing gun-feel, but absolutely stripped gameplay. While Campaign has room to grow due to the sandbox elements, MP feels absolutely naked and bare.
If 343 really is “giving their best” and serving up some barebones experience, heck I may close one eye. But we all know what they’re really doing. They’re stripping content down so they can release it as superficial updates, which is unacceptable. (Especially since they did the exact same thing with H5)
People have already found different mods in customs as presets, but somehow these aren’t in matchmaking playlists. Like what’s the point of having all these modes not played unless 343 intends to drip it out as “events”?

So we should just give up? You can’t change the past, but I’m sure it can’t be too hard to not spend any more money, right? Even withholding the small amount of weekly purchases they expect from us will amount to something.
Also, to anyone that’s reading this and agrees, make sure to speak up. If there’s even one extra person it’ll help convince, it’ll be worth it. As it is, people are mostly only seeing negativity in this thread.

This is actually the opposite of what we should do. If we play as much as possible and make as few purchases as possible, they’ll hurt themselves with how fast they drop those prices.
How about you take the promised time into account.
If they can’t meet their promises by the timelines given, or otherwise appear to give up on meeting those promises (Frontier Developments style) THEN we can go back to frothing at the mouth calling them names and such.

A promise will remain a promise. Compare the reveal trailer and the end product we received. Such a disappointment. That will tell you what we are getting into.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean, but I said until season 2 or major improvements. This is results based, not time based. Also, what about the six years they’ve already had? How much more time is needed?
And there isn’t any frothing or name calling here, there’s just trying to explain how 343 won’t listen unless you put your money where your mouth is.
Time really isn’t the problem with 343.
Who knows how much content was cut and for what reasons, but no amount of time will substitute a clear vision in any production.

I disagree with the principle/idea here.
343i WILL fix and improve tons of stuff about the game (the changes they’ve already made have kind of impressed me honestly) because they want money. The argument that “who cares if the game loses tons of players or people are trashing the game because they continue to make money” is just blatantly wrong. No this stuff hurts their cash flow either short term or long term so kind of a ridiculous argument to make.
I think people look at our relationship with 343i like they’re our spouses or something. This is a simple two way street, we support them (with money, or just playing their games) and they support us (with content, bugfixes, whatever)
Regardless, it is your money, you do with it what you will. I just find the argument to be kind of poor.

Honestly I’m. It hyped for anything they are saying they will do, they have a track record of dropping the ball, somehow they will make cross core customization worse than what we have now. Like yes I know it’s hard to imagine that, but trust me 344 always seems to find a way to have the amazing talent to take one of the easiest and amazing concepts and put that 343 spin on it.
I’m just not holding my breath for them and I’m in the I’ll believe it when I see it …

If you’re talking about refunding the price of the campaign, well that’s never going to happen because the campaign is entirely independent from the free multiplayer. It has nothing to do with it.
