In the Halo4: Return of the forerunners video, when talking about the design of the Promethean knight, kiki says “they are not robots”. Yet, when chief sees the first knight in the e3 demo Cortana says “whatever it is, it’s not organic.” Am i missing something here? or was the e3 demo just for looks, because i thought they were ai until i watched the return of the forerunners video. If anyone can clarify, it would help out alot.
My theory: The Didact used the composer to turn human warriors into a new breed of Prometheans. These would be the ones in Halo 4.

Technically they are synthetic. Even if their AIs were created from an organic source, it really isn’t “organic” anymore.
