Also, as you can see, there are 8 types of Promethian Enemies. That means we are going to be fighting quite a a large variety of Enemies when you take the Covenant into account as well.

I don’t see any indication that this is all of them. In fact, the fact that there are 8 Promethean enemies there is evidence that this is not all of them, as we were promised 7 different types of Prometheans.
Also, there are more weapons waiting to be unveiled officially, one being the Promethean Repeater.

I thought the repeater WAS the suppressor?

It appears that way, but if you think about it it doesn’t add up.
The Repeater is in the E3 campaign demo, BSangel said so. This is the only reason we even know of a weapon called the Repeater. Last time I checked, the Suppressor is nowhere to be seen in the demo, but there just happens to be a mystery weapon which is held by the Battlewagon that knocks out Chief.

That is what I assumed. These are probably subdivisions (like Elite majors and ultras and spec ops etc.)

See?! Im not the only one saying this!
OP: We were told that 3 or the 7 Promethean enemies had been revealed, plus variants of them. The Crawler, Watcher and Knight, respectively.
And those of you thinking that the new variants revealed brings the total up, if that were the case then we would have seen 4 of the 7 enemies at E3. We saw the Lancer variant of the Knight, and 343i confirmed that.

The Repeater does appear to be aesthetically different than the Suppressor. However, I would bet that they ditched it, or redesigned it and renamed it to the weapon we know now as the Suppressor.

Seems like a pretty drastic change for only having a month to do so.
