Is it confirmed that the prometheans are amber during the day and blue at night?

I don’t know why the color is such a big deal now. In the trailer that debuted at 2012 E3, one of the shots towards the end shows blue prometheans

I don’t know if it was confirmed that they change color it could be like a change in shift blues on duty at night and red during the day.

I thought it had something to do with rank. With Blue Prometheans being tougher than amber ones.

I think it would be cool if the colors depended on Promethean Knight class. would be another indicator as to which Type of Promethean knight you were up against
