Does anyone else think that the Promethean Vision is ruining the game. So many times I die, having not even worked out where it came from and every time in the replay it’s Promethean Vision. It just feels cheap, as there is nothing you can do about it, no time to respond. And more and more players are using it, I guess because if you don’t you are a sitting duck for those that are. I don’t want to play wireframe Halo 4 thank you. I really think if Promethean Vision does not go completely from multi-player, I will. I just can’t take any more of these cheap kills.
It doesn’t need tweaking or adjusting, just total removal. It is currently influencing the whole of matchmaking in a bad way.

I can always tell when someone is using promethean vision, do you use your radar? A red wave pulses on your radar when someone uses it, you can also feel a small blip in the controller if someone uses it as well
No it does not break the game. The map size can have an impact on how effective it is, the time to recharge is long, and others can know someone is using it from looking at their radar. They will not get rid of it.
I simply love it when players like the OP get mad when players like me use AA’s strategically (PV) or even in combos (camo sniping, deal with it haters).
I confess I hadn’t noticed the waves on the radar. Maybe that’s what I was missing and the reason I seemed defenceless against PV. I’ll look out for it in future. Maybe include an instruction book next time?

It’s not really hard to miss, waves go through radar, you get prompted with a noise to know some one uses it, AND your controller gives a little vibration to also let you know.

So I used the radar to check for blips on my radar carefully, crouched to make little movement as possible while some cheater with the Promethean Vision goes around seeing everything with little effort so yes it breaks a game. Also It’s part of the game but as far as I’m concerned anyone using is cheating…I’m not even going go to debate that part further.
The only time it should be used in on the flood only in flood mode, that’s it.
Like any other armour ability, promethean vision can be countered effectively - firstly as others have said, you can on the radar that someone is using it. Secondly using camouflage whilst crouching/prone/both doesn’t show up on promethean vision. So it doesn’t need removed.

Yes OP, PV is a bit overpowered, but it’s the only practical counter to camo snipers.
I love turning on my PV and unloading on camo snipers and watching them go “WTF HOW CAN HE SEE ME”. 343 should remove PV when active camo gets removed, I think they should both be map pickups or ordinance drops.

It makes a noise, your radar shows it and your controller vibrates. You get plenty of warning when someone is using it, it’s your own fault you can’t counter it with all that information given to you
btw I use thruster pack not PV so don’t start flaming me for using it after defending it
