so the new halo 4 vidoc return of the forerunners, so around 4:40 there is an animation of the chief assassinating a knight with a promethean blade. he is using 2 hands holding the blade similar to the brute shot, and he is jabbing the blade into the stomach of the knight…so this means its a useable weapon?
I believe it’s more likely an alternate Knight assassination.
I think that was him stabbing a knight with its own light rifle.
Notice that the knight doesn’t have his sword, so it’s likely you tear it off them stab him.
> Notice that the knight doesn’t have his sword, so it’s likely you tear it off them stab him.
weird that you can tear a weapon off and stab a knight with it, but the chief would use survival tactics and use that weapon for later

Even when the weapon isn’t even physically attached to the Knight?

The joints are empty space, I think the chief could tear it off. Also by the looks of it, it isn’t designed for humans, looks big with no real handle. Even if the weapon did rearrange it self to fit master chiefs grip it would still be very large to carry, so for survival tactics it isn’t that good.
I’m not saying that it can’t be used I’m just saying that in the animation the knight doesn’t have a sword so it is likely to be the same one. So not very conclusive proof.
Also what spot would it serve in the weapon sandbox?
I don’t see it being useable .
Looks like part of the animation, I don’t think it’s gonna be a weapon we can use.
