So far, from what we can tell there has been a counter part to the majority of all the major weapons in Halo 4 through out the UNSC, Covenant, and Promethean arsenals. My thought is maybe there is a secret unrevieled Promethean sniper. Im not saying that there is one, but i think it would be really awesome if there was one that would put the UNSC Sniper and Covenant Beam Rifle through their paces. Im not taliking about some mocked up version of the Focus Rifle either. I mean something that fires a shot of high velocity vaporizing material right to the dome of an unsuspecting opponent.
Chances are Im just talking up false hope. Would still be cool to see though.

I’m thinking this sniper is a Hold-shoot-to-power-up sniper because the Promethean weapons we have seen seem to function in a unique way. If any of you guys play ME3 think of it like the Graal spike thrower or the Kishok Harpoon gun where you can shoot normally or charge it up to make it much more powerful

That’d be an awesome way to change up the sniper rifle.

Remember seeing this before, didnt click that it was the sniper at the time. Pretty sure thats going to pack a punch.
Halo has always had a tendency to add multiple versions of the same weapon, only making one good (beam rifle) and one bad (normal sniper/focus rifle). One can hope that the Promethean sniper has it’s own role on the field, not just a really good/bad version of a standard sniper but something unique…

Thats what Im hoping for, something thatll change things up a bit.
