Promethean slayer?

I was thinking, we had Covenant Slayer, and (human) slayer, why not promethean slayer?

Players start with a suppressor and boltshot, and 2 splinter nades.
Weapon pads are Incineration cannons, and binary rifles, etc.

Thoughts?

eso´s a great idea

Yes please, 343 I’m on my knees, please make this happen

I have a feeling all the tracking bullets would get annoying really quick. It might be slightly better if you started with a Lightrifle Boltshot and had to pick up the nades.

Everything promenthean isn’t very good so I would vote no but some may go for it.

SCOOTER SHOT! Ahem, I mean yes I would like to see this playlist.

True, nade spamming would become a problem.

They can even add in Promethean Vision. /s

Ehh, I don’t know. That gametype doesn’t get me very excited.

Im not against it.

It’s actually quite good with enough practice. Was playing 2v2 the other day and my teammate and I were losing 10-15. I picked up the suppressor thinking what the heck… ended up winning 25-20 becaue I wrecked with it haha. Cued all the hate messages as well calling me a noob for using the suppressor over the “better” assault rifle or pistol. Assault rifle is garbage now after the update. Aim assist is virtually gone.

The AR is still good. You just have to make more of an effort to aim for the head and burst fire it instead of just holding down the trigger.

Hey, if it help improve the weapon balancing for the Forerunner weapons… i’m all in. Light rirle in halo 4 was OP AF, now in Halo 5 it feels more balance.

Or I could be lazy and swap it out for the suppressor, aim, and mash fire in the general enemies direction MUHAHAHhahaha.

Well, since the Lightrifle is essentially my favourite weapon in H5 along with the Railgun (yes, Railgun is UNSC, but together they’re my top 2 H5 favourite weapons), yes, I’d be totally down for playing this playlist as long as LR was either readily available in-match or a player was to spawn with it at loadout. I’m actually a fan of ALL the Promethean Weapons. I actually LOATHED the Boltshot when I started playing H5 ranked competitively, but it grew on me over time. Now, I’ll often drop my AR for a Boltshot if I think the time is right and if it’s going to contribute to my team’s success. The suppressor has kind of grown on me as well over time, actually. It’s actually a pretty fun weapon. As for Incineration Cannon ---- love it, it’s just pure glory in lists such as Super Fiesta. I like to think of it as an Annihilation Cannon.

I’ve always felt that promethean weapons always had some sort of appeal to low skill. Wether it be the reliable three shot kill of the LR, or tracking bullets with the boltshot, It’s always felt cheesy. Feel like this if it were a playlist would just turn into a noobie eskobar
