As most of you remember, 343 decided to give us Covenant slayer, which I personally think was fun. This got me thinking, what if we were given Promethean Slayer? You would spawn with a Suppressor and a Boltshot. Like Covenant Slayer, you could find Tier Two REQ variations around the map (like Closed Fist and Song of Peace.) Maybe add in a Lightrifle somewhere too.There would be weapon pads, and each one would have a Tier Three REQ variation on them (like the Open Hand and Razor’s Edge.) I’'m not sure about this, but maybe it would only be on Forerunner maps like Tyrant and Colosseum. Tell me what you guys think in the comments.

You know would be even better… UNSC slayer. You know, with the assault rifle and the magnum. I really want that gametype.

Think of the warmup sessions those would/could be…

That is also a way to learn better tactics with promethean/covenant weapons.
What about Suppressor/Lightrifle starts so that it fits with the automatic/precision combo better?

That’s the one thing that annoys me with a hypothetical Promethean Slayer. The Boltshot is the only Promethean sidearm, but it’s not capable of headshots. The LightRifle is, but I think that it’s a bit too powerful to be a starting weapon, mainly because of it’s three-shot Perfect Kills. I just don’t think Forerunner weapons work well for spawning.
Though, it is social, so I don’t think it’d hurt.
That would be cool, I mean I miss covie slayer. If it were to happen, it should belong in the Team Skirmish playlist

i think its a great idea for a rotational. unfortunately there aren’t enough weapons to fill a map based on promethian factions
