Hi guys, I was wondering if 343 could add a new temporary playlist. It is not the first time they add covenant slayer but i have never seen something like Promethean Slayer (Maybe i just missed it). I think it will be a nice playlist in which you start with a light rifle and a suppressor/boltshot. In addition there will be promethean power weapons around the maps.
Let me know if you would like to see something like this.

As for the gametype, I would suggest trying it out in the custom games browser. It might take a little to set it up, but if it gains traction 343 might like it enough to add it in.
The reason I think Covy slayer works so well has to do with the set ranges on each weapon with long range and close range in mind. I think promethian slayer would play to similar to normal slayer just basing it on the loadout alone.
Personally, I hate the suppressor (razor’s edge is good, but the ttk for the normal version is not to my liking). But if this became a thing I would definitely take a crack at it, dislike of the suppressor or not.

Why not make it something that appears in a couple maps on Action Sack? This and Covie Slayer are exactly like what Action Sack pushes, some gametypes being crazier than others… I wouldn’t say that they’re worth dedicating an entire playlist to.
The need to get the playlist offerings right in the first place before they start pushing whack modes and experimental temp playlists though. The game has gone on far too long without offering the complete XBL Halo experience. Social Slayer? Multi-team? Where are these trademark social playlists?
Cool idea although, you could make a custom game with it.
I’d love it, I never get to really use the suppressor enough in arena, it’s one of my most used weapons in Warzone so I really like it and didn’t realize it for a while.
I feel like all the tracking weapons would get annoying really quick. Not to mention the Splinter Grenades everywhere…

I disagree about the tracking weapons, however the Splinter Grenades could definitely become ridiculous. Hopefully they would reduce the starting grenades to 1 and have fewer on the map.

It could be fun if it were a BTB variant. The Splinter 'nades would be a fun counter for the vehicles and as long as the Lightrifle was a pickup and not a starting weapon the tracking weapons would encourage closer range combat.
