What role do you think the ProRepeater will have in MM.
I think somewhat a long the lines of high spread, highest ROF, close to mid range with a special charge function that allows it to charge and release a bunch of bolts at a high rate with high spread.
Any thoughts?
Since my thread on the same subject didn’t survive lets try this again. I hope the Repeater is more accurate compared to the Storm rifle or AR. Something akin to the CE Plasma Rifle.
Other ideas being adding a scope to it ala ODST SMG. Or have it fire in extended bursts(maybe 6 shot bursts) though it still wouldn’t do headshots.
I just hope it is different from the other two in that it isn’t another auto weapon with a huge reticle. I can see the AR and storm rifle working I just hope the category gets the same variety the headshot weapons do.

I’m not sure how it could fit in. The scope perhaps…?
If the light rifle is a loadout weapon then I’m not sure how it fits in either…
It’s most likely a replacement for the SMG but stronger.

To be honest I think it depends upon how the storm rifle and AR function maybe it would be in the middle or maybe it would be stronger. If you want to go into other attributes besides strengh maybe clip size would be a good place to go. Maybe it will have a significantly smaller clip then the other to but be really powerful. Actually I’m curious about the promeathan weapons now, I mean I seen the scattershot being loaded but what about the light rifle and others.

There is some footage of it in use in some of the Spartans Ops gameplays, it seems more accurate than the others, but we will see.
EDIT: Not player use but you see prometheans using it.
I think it should be the most accurate automatic of the three since they are suppose to be an advanced race.
I can see it working sort of like the old Plasma Rifle

I think it’ll probably be some kind of close-range suppression weapon.

Sounds nice but if it is more accurate and/or more powereful then it should have a smaller clip size then the AR and storm rifle.

According to the Spartan Ops footage this is the Repeater.
