I don’t know if this was post before but if you’ve watched the new UNSC weaponry video i don’t know if you see at 0:48 when he change the Rocket Launcher with the new Promethean Pistol
Ya we all have seen it and want more footage of it.
Honestly I dont like the way it looks at all though idk if its just the lighting but it looks green, doesnt look like any of the other promethean weapons, it almost looks like something out of Prey (if anyone even remembers that game).

Yeah, the pistol seems like an hybrid between a Plasma Pistol with Forerunner texture and Magnum bullets

Halo Legends is not cannon (which is where that screenshot of the video came from), so unfortunately it doesn’t count and therefore the Promethean/Forerunner Pistol should not look like that.

Most likely because Prometheans use Forerunner technology, and that the Covenant reverse-engineered Forerunner technology to create the Plasma Pistol.
There’s bound to be similarities when you look at it that way.
Maybe if there will be like for other weapons a skin for all the Forerunner weapons for make theme Blue like the old Halo Forerunner lights, it will be more “Forerunner”

How is Legends not canon not trying to challange you. Im just curious, I thought it was. Well aside from the T-Rex and all, which now that I think of could very well be canon based on those giant elephant monkeys we saw in reach.

That would help but I think it should look more like the other Forerunner weapons, I just cant picture a Knight weilding it.

With the the exception of Odd One Out, Halo Legends is canon. As Frankie said:

But you are right when you say some of the things in Origins are canonically questionable. Cortana’s re-telling on the events of the Halo universe, within Origins episode 1 and 2, are left up to Cortana’s interpretation because she was not there and Studio 4°C were given some artistic license/leniency while designing it. So we can’t state that all of the designs are legitimate, as some of them could only be what Cortana imagine and some could be exaggerated by Studio 4°C’s art-style.

I have a long list that I could come up with if you wish, but I’d rather not waste our time bickering over what might possible be an opinion.

Well, Blue Prometheans were already seen in Campaign that’s why i say why don’t put Blue Skin for Forerunner weapon? Because we all know that is better the style Blue/cyan/green for Forerunner more than Red rampant

We can see the pistol shooting at another point in the video. It seems to shoot bursts of flames, with each burst taking up a bar of ammo.
